THE FAIRY GODMOTHER OF VINTAGE GOWNSHello. I'm Amy, and I restore Vintage Wedding Gowns from the 1900s to the 1980s. I put my heart and soul into each restoration, aiming to bring out the unique beauty of each gown. Each gown is lovingly restored as close to its original form as possible and then available in my Etsy shop for its next chapter.

If you see a dress you are interested in, please message me for more info.Custom Shopping: At this time I do not charge for custom shopping due to the fact that finding Vintage gowns is its ownunique magic. If you want a specific style or decade of a Vintage Gown, please message me on Instagram or Etsy. I will then personally search for a gown that matches your preferences. Once I find a gown you like, I will share the measurements and determine a price for the fully restored gown.

RESTORATIONS and DONATED GOWNSPersonal Restorations: At this time, I am not currently taking personal restorations. However, I am working on contracts to make this possible, hopefully at the beginning of the year. Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.Donate A Gown: By donating a vintage wedding gown, you're not just giving it a new life, but also making it affordable for someone else. If you have a family wedding gown you aren't sure what to do with, give the gift of passing it on.
All donated gowns are restored and listed in my Etsy shop for only the cost of restoration. If the dress cannot be fully restored, it will be used to repair other gowns. CUSTOM BOOK EDGESAmy Shane is a book and movie-cover body painter turned fore-edge painter. She blends her love of books, characters, and beloved scenes and brings them to life through the tip of a brush. Amy's art has been featured in numerous articles, blogs, and author panels, and was a featured Owlcrate art collaborator for over 3 years.Amy’s custom artwork was also featured in an influencer box with Entangled teen.Her watercolor works of art are now available in her Etsy shop.Full Custom Art Guidelines
Pricing: Each custom fore-edge painting is hand crafted in watercolor paint and sealed with an archival UV protectant that still allows the pages to be close and fully readable. Final prices range from $320-$500 depending on the amount of detail, sides painted, portraits, and book selected *custom editions will cost more and could prolong the deadline due to availability. Final price includes a down payment, book, and artwork.How it works:1. Send me a message inquiring about a custom fore edge paint, which book, and what scenes/characters you would like featured. How many sides you would like painted and if you would like your book to be featured with a horizontal or vertical image. At this time I am not creating new character art. All images must be photos, movie stills, or known characters * I will not replicate another artist's work.2. Once established that the project is achievable and determined final price I will give you a timeline and payment information.
